HMP Usk is a category C men’s prison located in the town of Usk, South Wales.
At HMP Usk, we deliver pre-release housing interventions through our Camau accommodation service. We work with men on probation who are homeless or are at risk of homelessness to progress through their housing journey and take steps towards stable accommodation.
Sentenced
Referrals for the Camau service can only be made by probation service staff via the HMMPS CORRE team. The CORRE Practitioner for the Probation PDU or region will take the lead with creating the referral in the Refer and Monitor Interventions system, which will then be sent to the Camau team for us to make contact and engage in the service.
Unsentenced (Remand)
