HMP Rye Hill

Service delivered in prison
Rye Hill is a Category B training prison for men in Warwickshire. We deliver psychosocial substance misuse services at this prison.

How we help

At HMP Rye Hill we offer a range of psychosocial interventions to help clients address their substance misuse, including:

  • BIPA – a short programme looking at alcohol misuse
  • Workshops and short courses on different topics such as substance awareness, health and wellbeing, social skills, coping and resilience, problem solving, decision making, and impulsivity
  • Therapeutic groups such as acupuncture and working in the garden

How to refer

Any prisoner can self-refer to service via the CMS service. We also accept referrals from third parties. This could include another member of staff within the prison, anyone involved in their care that is based in the community, family members etc. All prisoners are seen as part of their induction.
