About the Great North Swim 

The Arla Great North Swim is back! With six different open water swimming distances available, there’s an option for everyone, regardless of age, ability, or experience. 

Swimming in the cool waters of Windermere offers numerous benefits, from boosting circulation to lifting your mood and strengthening your resilience. Whether you’re looking to get in shape, set a personal record, immerse yourself in nature, or raise money for a good cause, you’ll be part of an incredible shared experience.
