Company support
Why work with The Forward Trust?
The Forward Trust works to end cycles of addiction, crime, long-term unemployment and homelessness. Our work changes lives for good and impacts on communities across the UK.
At a time when addiction levels are rising, there is an urgent need for us to extend our services so that more people, who cannot otherwise afford decent rehabilitative care, can access the vital support they need in order to recover.
As a business you have a real opportunity to make a difference; helping to save lives and offer transformational care to thousands of vulnerable individuals and their families each year.
I feel so grateful to The Forward Trust for giving me my life back, for believing in me and guiding me through my journey. I feel hopeful for my future, and my family are seeing firsthand the turnaround in my life. To be able to go from a dark place of rock bottom to a place of happiness and hope, for me this is a miracle.

Volunteering opportunities
Accredited by Volunteer England, our Volunteer Support Lead will be delighted to develop a package of volunteering opportunities, so staff within your organisation can develop new skills and meet new people.
“I really enjoy volunteering for Reach Out. The types of calls we receive are diverse and callers are receptive to our advice. Overall, it is extremely rewarding, and I would definitely recommend it. It has helped me develop as a person and even with some of my own challenges.”

Mental health and addiction advice and support
Our accredited trainers and specialists in mental health and addiction treatment can work with your HR and wellbeing functions to tailor a package of support and workshops suitable for your staff. We can offer advice on how to have a conversation with someone worried about their mental health/addiction issues or that of a colleague, friend or family member.
Motivational speakers
Many of our ex-clients are willing to speak openly about their previous experiences of addiction and crime. They are happy to attend company events and deliver motivational speeches to inspire others on how to be the best version of themselves.

Motivating and re-energising your workforce
Staff fundraising is a fantastic way to bring people and departments together. It can reinforce a culture of teamwork and camaraderie and is a great way for senior managers and directors to connect and share experiences with their team. we can support you by offering new ideas, advice, fundraising materials and plenty of other resources to help you succeed in your charitable goals.
Donations and gifts
The Forward Trust is very grateful for donations from companies, however large or small. We are also keen to receive gifts in kind including donations of services. To show our appreciation we like to recognise your support on social media and publicise your giving in other ways.
The people we work with
We work alongside more than 20,000 people with addiction issues each year. Thirty per cent of our staff have lived experience of the struggles our service users face. We recognise that the more we can come together the more we can do to help challenge the stigma surrounding addiction and reach out to those who desperately need our help.
We know that addiction can often a source for workplace absence and this is a key area we can support with in terms of opening up those (difficult) conversations, training managers and working with departmental teams (e.g. HR) to help create a culture that works for you and your employees.
Our supporters and partners are extremely important to us, as are our celebrity supporters who help promote our work. In recent years we have been lucky enough to work with Ant and Dec, Tony Adams MBE, Chris Difford, Jonathan Pryce, Bryony Gordon and many others.
