Housing & resettlement support
Who we help
Our programmes support different groups of people, so exact eligibility will depend on the individual scheme. Find out more by exploring our programmes below.
Our programmes
- Recovery housing: for people who have had issues with drugs or alcohol but are now making good progress in their recovery. We provide places to live for those who need more freedom than is offered in supported housing but who are not yet ready to live independently
- Vision Housing: for people who are homeless, due to be homeless, or leaving supported accommodation and are ready to live independently with some support. We link people with accommodation in the private rented sector through our landlord network across London, Surrey and Kent
What to expect
Our friendly and knowledgeable Resettlement Team will provide helpful advice and guidance, including which of our services is right for you.
If we are not able to provide accommodation ourselves, we’ll put you in touch with other organisations who may be able to help you, through our extensive network of contacts and partners.

I came to The Forward Trust because I was homeless and in a very bad place. After meeting the team, I suddenly didn’t feel alone anymore. They took time to understand me, and my situation, and helped me with many things.
