Our service is for people who :
- Are aged 18+; and
- Live in Southend-on-Sea
- Have issues with drugs and/or alcohol or are impacted by the drug/alcohol use of a loved one (even if that loved one is not ready to get support themselves)
How we help

- One-to-one and group support
- Health checks and testing for blood-borne viruses, including Hepatitis C
- Help to detox
- Prescribed medication (where appropriate and following a medical assessment), Naloxone dispensing and needle exchange
- Support from peers who have been through similar experiences

Since completing the programme, I have learnt a lot about myself. My family wants to know me, I’m clean and feeling better. I see where I went wrong and don’t want to go through that again.
