Medway Individual Placement Support (IPS) Employment Service

Service delivered in the community
This employment services works in tandem with our Medway Treatment and Recovery Service (RIVER) to support individuals into work through skills development and job coaching.

Who’s it for?

This embedded service works alongside our Medway Treatment and Recovery Service (known as RIVER) and is for individuals receiving support from this service.

How we help?

Our IPS Service provides employability support through an intensive, personalised and strengths based approach along with tailored  job search support, CV preparation, careers advice, interview practice with the primary objective of connecting individuals to the right jobs. 

Once someone has been placed in a role, our experience IPS team continue to work with both individual and employer to sustain the job placement. 

Our Employment Specialists also work closely with our employer partners and Job Centre Work Coaches to build closing working relationships to benefit the individuals so that they are able to stay in work.

This is service funded by The Department of Health and Social Care in partnership with Medway Council.
