HMP Wormwood Scrubs
How we help
Substance misuse services
We offer a range of psychosocial interventions to help clients address their substance misuse, in partnership with PPG.
Programmes
- A trauma informed, service co-produced with stakeholders
- Recovery-orientated
- Whole family approach with a range of family interventions and increasing family involvement
- Pro-active approach, with wing-based pop-ups and a re-engagement strategy
Our service is fully integrated with healthcare.
Further interventions
- We offer a wide range of standalone workshops and in-cell packs aimed at harm minimisation, risk reduction, and relapse prevention
- Naloxone training
At HMP Wormwood Scrubs, we have a ‘Incentivised Living Landing’ or Clean Living Landing’, commissioned by the Ministry of Justice, which provides a space for clients who have undergone the required programmes to address their substance misuse and continue to work on their recovery.

Reach Out
I felt like no one had ever really understood what I was going through, until I went to see someone from Forward. They were so supportive and new exactly the right things to say, which helped me to open up.
