How we help
We offer a range of psychosocial and clinical interventions to help clients address their substance misuse.
Programmes
- Stepping Stones – a low-medium intensity intervention for those whose alcohol or drug consumption is at harmful or dependent levels
- The Bridge – an intensive abstinence-based programme which outlines the journey to recovery and longer term treatment
- Relationships Matter – a series of workshops designed to improve interpersonal relationships and restore healthy communication
- Living Safely Drug and Alcohol – a series of workshops exploring the risks associated with drug and alcohol use
Further interventions
- Clinical interventions – provided by a nurse/doctor and including opiate substitution therapy (OST) and detoxification
- Auricular Acupuncture – acupuncture of the ears, offered as a complementary therapy for all service users
- Individual key working sessions
- We offer a wide range of standalone workshops and in-cell packs aimed harm minimisation, risk reduction, and relapse prevention
How to refer
Any resident can self-refer to the service. We also accept referrals from third parties. If a staff member or third party refers a resident we will assess the resident if they agree to engage. All residents on a substitute-prescribing regime will automatically be referred for further substance misuse support.
