Erwin James (1957 – 2024)

Erwin James was a patron of the Forward Trust, an author, Guardian Columnist/Contributor and Editor in Chief at InsideTime, the national newspaper for people in prison. Erwin became a writer after serving 20 years of a life sentence and is now the author of 3 published works, including: A Life Inside: A Prisoner’s Notebook (2003).
