Tune in to our BBC Radio 4 Appeal on 2nd February 2025

We are delighted to share that The Forward Trust will feature in the BBC Radio 4 Appeal on Sunday, 2 February 2025, presented by author, podcaster, and Forward beneficiary, Melissa Rice.

This special broadcast highlights the transformative work we do to support those suffering from addiction. During the appeal, Melissa shares her struggles of her own addiction to alcohol and her journey into and through recovery.

We would be grateful if you could listen to the broadcast, share it far and wide, and most importantly, donate. Without your support our work would not be possible.

When to listen

Tune in to BBC Radio 4 on the following dates to be inspired by Melissa’s story:

  • Sunday 2 February at 07:54 and 21:25
  • Thursday 6 February at 15:27

Why your support matters

Every donation towards our vital work has a real and tangible effect on the lives of those affected by addiction. Throughout 2023-2024, we were able to support over 28,000 people, an increase of 6,000 from the previous year.

Our holistic, comprehensive, and integrated approach to support empowers individuals to rebuild their lives and reintegrate into society, making your impact even more important.

We are so grateful for whatever support you can offer.

Every penny matters. When you make a one-off or regular donation, even if it’s a small amount, we’re able to provide life changing support to more people who need it. Whether it’s help and advice to keep someone’s recovery on-track, a place at one of our residential rehabs, support for families, a new job or a safe home.
