The Forward Trust Staff amongst Finalists at 2024 ERSA Employability Awards
The ERSA Employability Awards celebrate outstanding contributions to the field of employability in the UK. Organised by ERSA, these awards recognise organisations and individuals that demonstrate excellence in helping people secure sustainable employment. The event highlights innovative practices, impactful programmes, and collaborations that address employment challenges across various demographics.
Paige Tilbrook, a Restart Scheme advisor based in Kent, has been named in the final list of 13 nominated for ‘Frontline Advisor of the Year’, an award sponsored by global service provider Serco.
“It’s great to have received a nomination for Advisor of the Year,” says Paige.
“Since joining the sector 2 years ago on the Restart Scheme, I have supported over a hundred unemployed participants in attaining sustainable work and the feeling of changing people’s lives is priceless.”
The Adult Skills teams in Kent and London have also been named finalists in the ‘Skills for Work’ category for the work they do in providing adults with additional skills that are required for employment. This category is sponsored by the Education Development Trust and our team is one of five to make the final list of nominees.
“We are delighted to be nominated for our skills programmes. Our teams work hard to connect them to our employability and other Forward Trust services, ensuring that our learners gain the skills and knowledge to access good quality work and embark on rewarding careers.” – Asi Panditharatna, Executive Director, Employment Services
The ERSA Employability Award winners will be announced at an awards evening on the 4th of December 2024. The Forward Trust would like to wish Paige and the Adult Skills team the best of luck in their respective categories.
