Forward’s new business bootcamp supporting ex-offenders in London

If you're looking to start your own business but not yet had the break, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for!

Forward Trust Enterprise Services have a limited number of free spaces available for their upcoming new business bootcamp.

In collaboration with The Financial Times, Enterprise Services will be holding a one-off information session at 2pm on 24th April 2024 via Microsoft Teams.

Candidates will get an overview of the bootcamp – and how it can help catapult their new business ideas into reality.

Jacqui Dobson, Diversity and Inclusion Partner & Financial Times & Co-Chair FT Access, will also give a short talk about the opportunity of participating in a week-long work experience placement at The Financial Times as part of this programme.

Criteria and conditions of the business bootcamp:

  • You must be an ex-offender living in London and committed to starting your own business
  • You will be supported on all the important considerations when starting a business with support to get your business trading.
  • Access to a free work experience programme with our partners at The Financial Times (eligibility subject to additional criteria)
  • Access to our micro grant of up to £1,000 (eligibility subject to criteria and availability of funds)
  • Allocation of an enterprise mentor as an extra layer of support
