FAVOR UK’s Recovery Walk 2024

We at Forward are delighted to be sponsoring FAVOR UK’s Recovery Walk in London this Saturday. With live music and activities taking place all afternoon, this is one you don’t want to miss.

Date: Saturday 14th September 2024

Time: 11am meet, 12pm start

Location: Crystal Palace Park, London

About the Walk

This year’s walk is the 16th annual event, and it stands as a powerful testament to the collective strength of our recovery community.

It showcases the incredible journeys of those beginning their path to recovery, celebrates those who have enjoyed many years of freedom from addiction, and honours the services and loved ones who have supported us every step of the way.

There are two walks available on the day: a full route, which takes just over an hour to complete, as well as an accessible route which takes around 25 minutes.

What Else Is There To Do On The Day?

As well as the recovery walk, there will be live music from artists, including:

  • The SHINE choir
  • Wes Brown
  • The Velveteen Orkestra

There will also be a talk delivered by a spokesperson from Recovery Today about the event and its cause.

At Forward, we are extremely proud of the work we do to help people in Recovery, and we can’t wait to celebrate this great event with those of you that attend.

Make sure to come and visit our stall in the festival area on the day of the event!
