Company support update: The Financial Times provide Forward with generous advertising space in recent issue
On the 24th January, the newspaper donated some generous in-kind support towards our charity, by way of some high-profile free advertising space. Forward was able to take advantage of a quarter-page advert to promote our much-valued Employment Services work.
The Financial Times’ wide physical distribution and digital subscription footprint helps Forward reach people who might be able to lend valuable skills, time or financial support to our cause – as individuals and organisations.
The Forward Trust empowers people to break the cycles of addiction or crime to move forward with their lives. Since 1991, we have been working with people to build positive and productive futures. We believe that anyone is capable of lasting change, as celebrated in our More Than My Past and Taking Action on Addiction campaigns. We’re a national organisation, with services located in almost all regions of England (South West, South East, London, East of England, West Midlands, East Midlands, North West; and Yorkshire and the Humber) and Wales. Forward now have over 70 separate service delivery projects, with more than 20,000 clients per year supported by 700 staff and 150 volunteers.
Our thanks again to The Financial Times in creating this unique opportunity to reach out to more companies this year, enabling us to find new employment openings, employability training and mentoring for some of our service users who are struggling with long term unemployment.
