Art exhibition in Margate paints a vivid and honest picture of addiction

In Margate, Kent, an art group made up of people in recovery from addiction, along with staff from the Forward Trust have put together an exhibition of their work

The group have spent the past few months working on their artwork using the theme; What Does Addiction Mean To You?

The exhibition has been organised to mark Recovery Month in September – it will be open every day up to 6 September at the Gap Project Queens Road Baptist Church, CT10 1N

This event is one of many activities happening around the country to celebrate the recovery of people who have had drug and alcohol issues.

At Forward, we know how much art can play such an amazing role in people’s recovery journeys and celebrate this in our Forward Connect community and Journey magazine.

This exhibition is part of Forward’s work in support of Recovery Month.
